Design - Initially, we visit your home to provide advise or if preferred, to combine your ideas and requirements, with our 25 years of experience in kitchen design and manufacture. We advise on all the best and most up-to-date appliances, accessories, worktops and materials. The room is surveyed and together we create a "draft" design that makes the best use of the available space, including where to best position appliances. On completion of the draft, a quotation of the price is supplied. (An overall price can't be supplied, as a kitchen could include lots of things). If the quotation is accepted, the initial design and information goes to the drawing board and at that stage we perfect our initial design. Large "hand drawn" plans are produced which are then presented to you for your comments and final approval.

Manufacture - All the wooden components are indiviually, methodically and skilfully made in our workshop using the best quality timbers available. Nothing is bought in pre-made. The designer and proprietor, Dennis Waterhouse has a wealth of experience in woodworking and pattern making and he has devoted his time to perfecting these skills. Traditional joints, techniques and tools are used, resulting in some of the finest cabinet work available. In order to achieve perfection and to retain total focus, only one kitchen or piece is worked on at a time. You can visit the workshop at any time without notice and see your kitchen being made. Finally, the kitchen is assembled for your inspection in the workshop prior to delivery.

Fitting - Fitting is just as important as the manufacture and all of our fitting is methodically and skilfully carried out to the same exacting levels of perfection. Uneven floors and walls are scribed too, leaving no gaps. The cabinets are perfectly levelled and are very secure. Because the cabinets are pre-assembled, fitting time is kept to a minimum, but the job is never completed until you are completely satisfied. Self-fitting is an option; comprehensive instructions and advice is given and a granite company would template and fit the granite worktops.

Quotation - With our unique type of kitchen and design techniques, a quotation involving the work described in "design" at the top of the previous page can consume on average about six hours (Not ALL at your home). As a small business, I therefore have to try and focus on people who really like my work., are happy with the lead time, price and definitely require a kitchen. To do this, I prefer, if possible, for potential customers to see the workshop and display as a first step.

Price & Estimated time frames - For the design, woodwork and fitting of a unique bespoke kitchen, excluding worktops and appliances, the price range is usually between 7k and 18k. The lead time is usually between 3 and 8 months
