MATERIALS - The timber is kiln dried, first quality, individually hand selected and used to its best advantage.

OAK "FRENCH" - is very hard and stable, is light in colour and has a very interesting and figured grain.

MAPLE "AMERICAN HARD ROCK" - This Maple is very hard and is extremely light in colour. It has a subtle grain which allows the eye to focus more on the cabinetry. It is slightly more expensive than Oak.

BIRCH - is used in the carcases. It is very smooth, close-grained, flat and stable. Far superior to chipboard or MDF in that it is unaffected by water, "holds screws well" and does not degenerate or weaken over time. (Two packed finish)

FINISHES - One of the most important aspects of the kitchen is the finish. We use a "two-pack" lacquer or paint, which is the most hardwearing and water resistant finish available, also providing a strong bond with the timber. It will protect and keep your kitchen looking new for many years. Your wood kitchen can be lacquered, natural or stained. The finished woodwork is vey smooth to the touch, even on end grain. Wax and oil, is in our opinion, inadequate for a kitchen, but is available if requested.

PAINTED KITCHENS - Made from a combination of Maple and Birch (not MDF) both having close grain ideal for painting (two-pack). The paint is "usually" applied in the workshop enabling a better quality of paint and finish. (Self painting is an option).

STYLES - Shaker, (plain, simple and modern) or traditional (more detailed, with carving etc) both having "fluted" front frames with inset-doors and deep wooden drawers (Full Extension).

FITTINGS - The best quality fittings available are used, solid brass or stainless steel "butt-hinges", full extension concealed, self close 40kg load runners, soft close is optional, (wooden drawer boxes slide fully open) and adjustable steel plinth feet (not plastic).

ACCESSSORIES - A large choice from handles to ironing boards, sinks, taps, pull-outs, waste-bins etc.

WORKTOPS - GRANITE, CORIAN, WOOD or laminate, dependent on your choice.
